We’re thinking about renting our home. Is there anything special we need to consider?

Yes. Lease terms must be disclosed to the homeowner's association at least ten days before the lease is presented to a potential lessee and any final lease must be given to the Board for review.  Lease terms must be greater than six months and must cover an entire site.  For more information, please see the bylaws, Article VI, Section 22. Short term rentals (less than six months) are not allowed. 

When exactly are dues due?

Notices will typically be sent out at the beginning of each year and due around the second or third calendar month. However, it is ultimately the homeowner's responsibility to pay their dues in a timely fashion. Late or missed payments will result in fees as outlined in BRHA Resolution No. 2 Dues Collection Policy.
